The SIAC Professionals' Internship Programme (PIP) will provide first-hand, practical experience of the role and functions performed by a leading global arbitral institution. At SIAC, you will work with a dynamic, multicultural and professional team of arbitration lawyers on the administration of cases under the SIAC Rules. The PIP is open to both local and overseas based candidates.

You should have:

A Law Degree (LLB or equivalent)
At least 1-2 years PQE
Excellent command of English. Additional language skills are an advantage.
Strong communication and drafting skills
Ability to work well in a multicultural environment

Application Windows Summer Term: 1 May 20 – 31 Oct 20 (cut-off date on 1 Apr 2020; Ref: Summer-May20-PIP)

Winter Term: 1 Nov 20 – 30 Apr 21 (cut-off date on 1 Aug 2020; Ref: Winter-Nov20-PIP)

Duration of Internship The internship will be for a maximum period of three (3) months within a single term. Please indicate (as specifically as possible) your (i) period of availability; and (ii) preferred dates.

Remuneration The PIP is unpaid and candidates will have to bear all costs associated with the internship including, inter alia, round-trip airfare, room and board and living expenses. SIAC will assist with processing your Training Employment Pass (if required).
